When a BLISTERSTOP coating is damaged, all that’s needed is to clean the area and lightly sand the affected edges. It’s not necessary to remove large areas of the existing coating.
The new coating can be applied immediately to the damaged surface, in a localized manner.
The product allows for spot repairs without leaving visible marks between the old and new coating, whether applied by brush or roller.
Fire and heat resistant surfaces
The BLISTERSTOP floor covering is suitable for all types of production environments, including those involving hot metal.
It offers excellent thermal resistance, remaining intact after contact with processes such as welding, grinding with a radial angle grinder, or falling red-hot metal.
Better stain resistance than silicates
BLISTERSTOP, formulated with high-penetration silanes, offers superior stain protection on concrete surfaces compared to traditional silicate-based treatments.
Thanks to its low surface tension and high reactivity, BLISTERSTOP penetrates deep into the concrete’s capillary network, creating an effective hydrophobic barrier without altering its breathability or appearance.
While silicates primarily act by hardening the surface, BLISTERSTOP works from within, drastically reducing the absorption of oils, water, grease, and other staining agents common in industrial, commercial, or residential environments.
